Some preliminary designs and simulations concerning sound
sampling hardware.
Simple sound sampler design
This piece of hardware samples 256 8 bit samples from its analog
input, and then indefinately playes that sample over its
analog output. (in progress, wil addd details and explanation)
Conclusion wrt package: design entry is fine, cut and paste
may even beat breadboard experience, simulator is in need of
more accurate dealy models (cicuits that would work in practice
are considered ambiguously clocked), and the demo version has a
logic transition limit of 10k (grrr).
